I'm done! Just over 9 months since the first surgery and I've finished active treatment - fingers crossed, never again. The sun is shining - 26oC here in Adelaide, today... Time to get on with life again.

They slid me out from under the radiation thingie and I raised my arms in the air and whooped! Later, I sat in the sunshine (carefully covered up) and ate a chocolate cream doughnut for lunch!

SO SO good to read this my diagnosis sister!! From the depths of my heart to you, the heartiest of bloody well dones. You've been through the wringer and now it can disappear in the rear view mirror. About time! Enjoy the sunshine and the relief. Big hug! Kate xox

Yay! I bet you won't miss all those appointments and tests and treatments. Just in time for Spring too. Don't forget though, it will take quite a while to recover properly so don't over do things. Enjoy. <3

Well done @Sister must be a huge relief to have completed 8 months of ongoing treatment. As everyone has said do something special for you to mark the occasion and take care of you!

Better than me, @Sister ..... I blubbed and snotted myself thru my final session! LOL

Well done YOU! I am so happy for you! Keep lathering up for over a month tho (you'll notice the warmth continues for some time!) Then keep going again as well!! ;) Boz Cream worked for me for the final bits.
