Broken Tooth

Bugger!  I've just lost a bit of one of my back teeth - hopefully, mostly filling that's gone.  And hoping this is not the shape of things to come.
  • I have wondered as I have noticed that my teeth have become extra sensitive.  I just don't know when I first noticed it - before or after starting Letrozole.
  • Here's an interesting thing. I have been having about 5 teeth aching on and off and even had one die a few months ago and had it extracted. Thing is, all fillings are fine, even on xray. I am having a month off my Tamoxifen and almost immediately all the tooth aches are completely gone.
  • Can relate to that @Sister I had one break in half 3 weeks ago about 7.00pm one night !
As I was going to a farewell dinner the next night I wasn't happy ,found a dentist open that night & had it fixed by 9.00
Easy peasy !!! Nice dentist too !
  • Getting in to see someone early on Tuesday morning.  He's extremely gentle - I usually only go to women dentists but he's an exception.  It's not hurting at all but very sharp.
  • Oh dear - I really feel for you!   I had one cave in not that long ago ..... I reckon I've had about 5 'go on me' in the last 5 years.  Mine were just age, I'm afraid (having a few years on you!!  ;)  ) - the blood supply to the teeth is less as we get older & they become brittle & crack/break.  They are pretty good at doing the resin 'fix ups' these days!  I hate that sharp feel tho - you just can't stop 'playing with it' with your tongue!

Have you been able to get a quick appointment with your dentist?  I hope so!
