l just have a question had surgery in august last year but my right breast at moment is tender and sore thought it might be due to cold weather,but not sure l still cant lie on my right side properly, or is it just a combination of chemo and radation l see oncologist next weds thank you all regards robsue
It's probably from the radiation.I had a lumpectomy and radio. back in 2003 and I had discomfort for many years.I couldn't lie on the affected side and didn't like it touched - basically just there to fill my bra.Probably improved after 5yrs.The cancer came back(7yrs later)so now it's off.From a psycological and sexual point of view,it's better to have an uncomfortable breast than no breast at all.
