Hi Kazza, I too had a wide excursion lumpectomy in January, initially I chose to have a mastectomy, then when things sunk in a bit more I went for the lumpectomy, dr was very pleased with results got clear margins around it, I am pleased I changed my mind and had lumpectomy, it is a personal decision, listen to what the dr's say they are the experts, you will come to the right decision for you.
