Hi there
I would suggest wearing the big Berlei bra (I call mine 'Big Bertha') and a knitted knocker for a while. Once your scarring and swelling has settled (I was advised to wait 12 weeks) make an appointment with a trained Amoena fitter. She will be able to advise which prosthesis and bra is most suitable for you, your weather and lifestyle. You may find that 'Big Bertha' is the best 'workabout bra' as it is soft and comfortable in the rural environment. If you are concerned about knocks from the animals I would think the silicone prosthesis may be risky as they may cause a puncture. The cotton ones are comfortable - and if you are worried (and don't really care what the cattle think) - you can add more stuffing for protection. If you have ordered yours from ChristineM she will include extra padding which is great.
Good luck. Keep in touch. Summer :-)
