I am booked in to have a double Mastectomy on the 30th May and I thought it would be nice to create a plaster mould of my breasts before I say goodbye to them. I am having reconstruction surgery however I would like to keep something of the "originals".
Does anybody know where I could purchase such a kit from and relatively quickly?

I was going to suggest the same.You could get plaster of paris from Bunnings etc.You'd do the gladwrap over your boobs and mix the plaster.You'd need a friend to do it because the plaster sets quickly.So when you take it off the mould is on the inside so you'd line that with gladwrap and pour in new plaster.That gives you like a sculpture when it dries and you take away the mould.And like Leonie says,you could make a jelly or whatever.Too easy!

You should be able to get this product from any hardware or craft shop so long as you are happy to do it yourself. I saw on "Old Calcutta" the movie when I was only 17 and snuck into the adult show, how they did this of a penis!! Very naughty of me but I was fascinated. From memory, because I thought it was so good, you have to moisturise your breasts and I would put gladwrap on them, then mix the product and on it goes. I think it sets fairly quickly and then off the moulds come. Whalaaaa. There you have it. Hope that gives you some idea and you can achieve what you want. XLeonie PS You can then fill the moulds with whatever you like. I can see them as nice green jelly!!!!! It is a good idea and something to make you smile.

Thanks for your comments. I have found a couple of places on line however they are more hens nights, adult novelty type places and located over East. Might try the Breast Cancer Foundation here in WA tomorrow, but worth a try putting it out there.
