Breast cancer - 2nd time around

I'm so glad I was able to put a smile on your face, now you have made my day!   I too wondered about my pending hair loss as many suggested it could be a problem for me.   I decided I had enough ahead of me without this being a problem, so if I was going to have an issue I wanted to address it before I went into chemo - I had my head shaved!   For me, it was the best thing I could have done.

If you are up to it and in the right head space, consider inviting family and friends around and ask everyone to sponsor you shaving your hair!   Do you know someone who would do it for you?   You never know, your girls may even want to do it, you can always get it fine tuned at the hairdressers the next day.   It will be a lighter environment for not only you but your family and friends.   And remember - it's only temporary, hair grows back!
