Hi I am reposting because I put it in the wrong discussion.......I am to have a bilateral mastectomy without reconstruction in 2 weeks time. I have been given the berlei care kit and have some knitt...
@Willow26 all the best with your surgery. I had a left mastectomy with delayed reconstruction. As @nonkyboy said your suture lines can be quite sensitive at first so you might want to just wear a loose fitting top. You can choose what size you want to be, or stay flat and fabulous as @Summerhill38 said. One of the benefits of delayed reconstruction was having time to think about what I wanted to do. There are some fabulous Instagram posts about women who have chosen not to have reconstruction. x
