Book those appointments early !
As I am on annual mammograms and ultrasounds I ensured I was well ahead with a request for the paperwork, to be told "it is not du yet". I was due in September but due to COVID that was later last ye...
Having had an mx as advised on the referral did not move me up the queue at all. It was the 2 month wait, end of story.
Asking about a list for cancellations - the 'too hard basket'.
At Christmas lunch a (male) friend was telling us that the person doing some tests for him mentioned women not having a mammogram or ultrasound until 6 weeks after any vaccinations - was everyone aware of this ?
With this in mind I emailed the imaging place and guess what ? I have an appointment tomorrow ! At least it is 11 days earlier (but who's counting ?) and it will be before my covid booster which is now also considered late due to all the rule changes.
