Oh Hazel ...my thoughts are with you. The bone pain has been the biggest chemo issue for me by far and I'm not quite sure whether its the neulasta shot or the Docetaxol or both. The first time it started Day 5 and by Day 6 I was in a bit of a mess with it .....worse than my 3 end stage childbirths with no analgesia . I called the Oncologist and they gave me endone to take 3 hrly which saved my sanity ....Panadol,panadeine, claratyne and everything else was as much help as a walking stick on wheels .( I'm allergic to antiinflammatories so I can't take them )
This second round I was prepared and got onto it before it got a grip ( but I still have needed endone ) and loaded up on that I can walk 8 km and do a full yoga class . Did you have the neulasta shot ? I think it's really common with that .
Don't let it get on top of you Hazel ....call for reinforcements if you need :) look after yourself and I hope you're feeling more comfortable soon . Hugs Karen X
