Hi Herb lady, I'm so sorry to hear about your bone mets. When were these discovered? There are a lot of ladies on this site who are experiencing bone mets, who will be able to offer advice to you if you need it. Have you had a mastectomy, or lumpectomy, and did you need to have lymph nodes involved? I have had a double mastectomy, a third of my nodes removed from my breast cancer side, 4 rounds of chemo, and have just finished reconstruction with implants. I have been taking Femara for the last several months, having finished my chemo exactly one year ago. This period after treatment is good, but scary as well. We have no idea what is happening in our bodies, and I never feel completely confident, due to the fact that the Drs don't routinely do scans to check up on the possibility of
secondaries. It sometimes feels like a waiting game. I
don't like to be pessimistic, but I think we all feel a bit
like that at times. All the best with your treatment, and I
hope you get results so as to avoid more chemo. Love
Chris xx
