Blown up
Hello my pink ladies
Just wondering if anyone else has had any long term swollen legs and ankles and now my arm on the surgery side. It has been both legs for a good week now where sometimes they ...
Hi Shaz
Thanks for caring love. I have seen the oncologist yesterday and had a chest xray and have another heart gait scan booked for next tuesday. I see her again on thursday.
I am having my radiotherapy so have spoken with the nurses there re arm and leg swelling and I hope to see the lymphodema nurse today??? My zapping appt has been put back from 1.55 till 4pm today so hopefully that will still happen. The swelling has definitely settled compared to what it was but it is still there.
The oncologist said it can be one for four possible things going on. Pneumonia, lung problem, heart problem or just the chemo still beating me up but she is very surprised I not feeling better and on top of it by now. So once again it is the waiting game but at least the tests are getting done to rule things out and give me some answers.
I am staying away from home down in Perth for radiotherapy for the 7 weeks. I am finding I am very very tired and just want to rest. I had a busy day with appts all day yesterday and just came home and laid on the bed and watched tele (something I do very little of) as I wasn't capable of reading or doing anything else. I took a sleeping tablet and was only woken up by my room phone ringing at 12.30pm otherwise probably still sleeping now :-). My hubby (bless him) said he felt he was away on holidays with a very old women that he had to care for mmmmmm thanks for that precious, might be true but you don't need to hear it do you?
I have been wondering if the other pink sister that had shortness of breath etc. and was diagnosed with pneumonia and then went on to be diagnosed with bloody BC had any cough as part of her symptoms or not so I will have to go back through blogs and find her and ask her that question. I have no cough but just feel yukky and lethargic and want to hide away from the world etc.
I am going to have to just rest as much as I can and wait for answers.
How are you travelling lately. Where are you up to. Any dramas for you? I hope not.
PS: We did have a wonderful time away to say the least but I limited us with what I was capable of doing unfortunately. We will return to Tassie one day when I am fit and well so look out Tassie I will be back. Salamanca Markets are recommended.
LOL
Mich xoxo
