I am 2 years past chemo and mastectomy, and I take Tamoxifen.I thought like you in the beginning, but my oncologist said there is no need for regular blood tests.I have a yearly mammogram and ultrasound, and a 6 monthly check with the oncologist. She doesn't really do much,so I think it's up to us to let them know if we feel ANYTHING at all different.I actually decided to have a 6 monthly full blood test with my GP.He is more than happy to do it,and I go over the results with him.I feel that by doing this,I can keep an eye on things like blood sugar levels, iron levels, etc and anything else that might stand out as a bit strange. It just gives me peace of mind.Mayb this is something that you could do? Cheers Robynxox
