Blood clot in elbow deep vein
I thought I was doing well with 3 cycle of AC n counting down to my last AC this coming Monday but I was feeling sore on my left elbow when straighten my elbow for days. Thinking probably it just sore muscle till I can see it abit swell. So I went to GP n get ultrasound n it has shown as DVT in my elbow. I was sent into ER immediately. I had an injection n the ER doc did a ECG n chest xray to make sure the blood clot did not travel to my heart n lungs. So far my ECG n xray are clear. So I m home with blood thinner medicine to be taken daily throughout my treatment. I feel defeated by this setback. I just wish treatment just goes smoothly for me. Is it common to get blood clot? If anybody out there has DVT, how long doez it takes go away?
