Bilateral Skin Sparing Mastectomy Pics

Hi Suzy, I had severe bruising and actually went back to theatre to drain off 800mls of old blood. This happened 3 weeks after my mastectomy and insertion of tissue expanders. I was black and blue like you, but it subsided quickly, as so much of the collection had been removed. I guess it took about 3 weeks all up. You appear to be healing fast, and the bruising is greatly improved by your third photo. Because I am nursing a triple fracture on my right upper arm, I too am wondering about the bruising and when it will subside. My arm is huge and black and blue. It is clumsy of me to break my lymphodema side. I hope all the swelling goes down quickly, like yours has. Love Chris xx
