It is such a shame that you found it so difficult to get good support and advice from the medical profession. It is your body and should be your decision, based on the latest medical research, about what is right for you.
None of us want to live under the dark cloud of Breast Cancer and it is a credit to you and your wonderful Mum that you were able to convince the doctors that this was the right action for you.
There are some wonderful doctors and medical staff out there though and I feel that I have been very fortunate to have a wonderful team that I have every confidence in. I have never felt that I was getting anything but the best care and support from all the staff that I have had looking after me so far.
