Hi Taryn
My journey has been identical to yours. I had bi lat mastectomy March 22nd this year immediate reconstruction, expanded over a few months the pain got worse every time but only lasted 24hrs. No chemo or radiation and on tamoxifen for 5 years. And 5 days ago just had the exchange surgery. I now have new silicone boobs and I am over the moon. The surgery was a million billion times easier than the mastectomy. Recovery is great for eg. I can do my hair straight away lol. They feel so good after those blasted expanders. They don't look perfect although pretty close but considering it's only been 5 days they could get better. I love them regardless as they feel realer. I hope that you have the same great experience I have been blessed to have. If you want to ask me any questions what so ever please don't hesitate. Trust me 100% there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel and you can stop thinking of "what's next" or "whats to come" as this is the finale. Good luck with everything. :-)
