Bilateral mastectomy

With surgery only a few weeks ago sounds like you are still sore. I didn't have expanders but hear they can be painful or uncomfortable while they do their job. I read that with the exchange to the implant there is relief. I did have a mastectomy though and was very sore and sensitive between the breasts for aboùt 4 weeks after. I'm not sure if this is a mastectomy thing or specific to the procedure I had. But it did go away. You are fortunate to not be having chemo treatment and that you were diagnosed early. But loosing your breasts is a huge adjustment emotionally and physically. A very strange place to be that those of us who have been there understand. For me it was the most difficult emotionally about 4-6 weeks after. The breast care nurse said its normal to have a bit of a crash then. When you get past the surgery and take stock of the new you. I'm only a few weeks ahead of you, my op was April 12 and I can tell you that you will see the light and you will feel better. Is that your daughter in your profile pic? She is stunning. Daughters are special and she must be a great support to you. I think children are the reason behind so many of our difficult decisions and give it all a purpose.
