My journey..... I have finished 3 sessions of FEC and now I am on 4th session out of 9 sessions of Taxol. After chemo has finished - require 30 sessions of radiation. Then replacement therapy and surgery to have ovaries removed.So I have still a way to go....
Hope your friends first chemo went well. Tell her also to just take care of herself and don't over do it. Chemo really is horrible... sorry to say. :(
Yes, like you, I wasn't one for taking tablets here or there. But since having surgery etc.... the need to just take the edge has helped. As my oncologist said, it helps you recover quicker if you aren't in pain or having side effects from the chemo.
