Hi Chrissy555, Sorry you have joined our network but Welcome and sending a huge hug. I had a single skin and nipple sparing mastectomy in my left breast last June. Surgeon is looking at reduction, then small implant on right breast then fat grafting on both to match them. She won't consider any surgery before 12 months and I can understand why. In the last 3-4 months the implant has softened incredibly and dropped slightly and the surgeons anticipate this in their time frames. I think the main thing is that you are satisfied with the reasons for going for single or double. You know yourself better than anyone else and if you are unhappy or uncertain and cannot feel comfortable with the decisions your surgeon is making seek a second opinion.
