I think you will find that the 'reclaim your curves' Facebook site is facilitated by Louise Turner who is also involved with this 'Reclaim your curves' new website.
I also think that she doing this with good intentions to help women make an informed choice.
i think to 'reconstruct or not to reconstruct' is an extremely personal and difficult decision. But continuing to bat one against the other is a waste of energy and is becoming a bit like the 'public verses private education' or 'working mums verses stay at home mums'
I am not trivialising this argument but please we need to support each other with whatever decision is made. I myself have had reconstruction with implants and of course they do not feel natural, sometimes I even wish I could just take them off at night because they annoy me but I have no regrets and I feel incredibly grateful to have had an amazing surgeon who gave me the choice.
the more information we can get (good or not so good outcomes) then the better for making rdecisions. On a final note I have seen some fabulous results in regards to own tissue reconstruction.
Worth the risks that come with surgery?? Only you can make that final decision.
