I also intended to say that there is a closed secure group on Facebook called 'Reclaim Your Curves'. This group is open to women having a mastectomy and contemplating reconstruction. Women report in on their operations, the aftermath, problems, etc. What is so helpful is that you can ask whatever questions you like about choices and the process, and some woman or a lot of women will immediately tell of their experience and give you personal information and even post pictures. There are no professional medical people on there trying to persuade you either way. I highly recommend it to anyway trying to decide what path to take after a mastectomy.
