Bald

Hi ladies, Thought I would share a story my family and friends found very amusing. As I told you all I was so sad when I lost my hair, but have adjusted quite well to being bald. I was in the supermarket with my husband, looking at the sun blocks, I could hear two teenager girls discussing which shamoo they should buy. They were talking about the pros and cons of many brands, I couldn't help myself I turned to them lifted my hat and said, "don't use that one! I did and look what happened"!. The girls looked at me both shocked and I put my hat back on and kept walking with a little chuckle. My daughter tells me she loves "bald Penny". I am a little less shy, she says bald Penny is wild. I think maybe I have realized life is too short to be so shy. Xxx

  • Good on you.  It does bring out the inner bold in us.  I won't put up with any "shit" anymore but on the other hand I am also prepared to debate and not "go off the handle".  My daughters also "embraced" my bald. My elder daughter made a point of taking a lovely holiday shot of me (just after chemo) of my bald head.  She has included it on "my page" of her 2012 calendar.  Enjoy your baldness - you will find that hair is quite hot when it starts regrowing.
