well thanks ladies for giving me a laugh, this is where the site is great, we can say anything about ourselves and nobody takes offence, so well done Baldies. haiving been there i know what it feels like, and like you both i ws in a shop when a kids about 4 said the something about me with my scarf, i didnt catch what she said, but her mum, was so embarassed and kep saying oh i am sooo sorry, i just laughed and said its okay, but the mum was pulling her away from me and the little girl kept comming back and looking at me, the kids i dont mind, but adults do tend to take a double look, and when ii said to my husband i was sick of adults looking at me, he went and bought a stupid hat (the one he is wearing in the profile photo), and said now they wont notice you, they will be too busy looking at me being a plonker with the hat lol,. keep up the good work girls, and when my hair grew back in i loved it curly and black, BUT since i had my op in dec for anurysm it is comming back grey, so the colour bottle will be comming out as soon as the stubble in the front grows back
