Hi Dot,

Yeah my head went red and itchy and I couldn't stop scratching.Chemist gave me some antihistamine tabs.and I also started washing my head with Cetaphil wash and then applying some sorbolene cream.It got better very quickly.I also made sure to wash my caps and scarves in sunlight soap.Don't know if any of that helps you.
