well...I had my lumpectomy last Friday with 3 nodes taken.
I just got home from getting results and my tumour is a lobular kind which was 6cm and 2 out of the 3 tested positive :(

Its unfortunate you have been left in the dark. Unfair though it is, you should have called those breast care nurses as they have a lot of information that is important. However, the fact is you will be well looked after and just remember that if you aren't happy about anything related to your care, you need to be your own advocate and speak up. You are paying the bill at the end of the day!
Feel free to ask any questions you have at any time. Some lovely lady will have the answers for you.
