Bad news. Please help :(
well...I had my lumpectomy last Friday with 3 nodes taken.
I just got home from getting results and my tumour is a lobular kind which was 6cm and 2 out of the 3 tested positive :(

Sorry to hear your news, the lovely ladies on here all understand your fear, as do I. Once you start treatment, you will feel better. My story is:
Nov 2012, diagnosed with BC. I had two tumors in the same breast. I elected to have a mastectomy, 3 lymph nodes affected. ER & PR positive , and HER equivocal.
The surgery was not as bad as I thought it would be, and I recovered quickly, even managed to go back to work after about 10 days. 6 rounds of chemo FEC-D. Again,not as bad as I imagined. I was not ever sick, had fatigue, and hair loss, but I soon got used to that as well. I even managed to go back to work after about 7-10 days after each infusion. 25 rounds of radiation, again manageable, and now on Arimidex for the next 5 years. The last year has flown by and I am now looking forward to the future. Just try to take one day at a time, Linda.xx
