Hello,
I too am completely unused to social networks but after a diagnosis of of bc in May I am looking for people's experiences.
My diagnosis is of "Ductal Carcinoma in Situ" I am post surgery and had the sentinal node removed whichn was clear. It was very small and grade 1.
I will have 6 weeks of radiation therapy and have been advised by the onclolgist to then do 5 years of Hormonal Therapy. It is the latter that I am having trouble accepting for a variety of reasons and the list of side effects I have read just on this site is a bit scary. Has anyone considered not taking the Hormone supressants? If so why or can you direct me to an site where I can get some more information. Thanks.
