Hi Debbie, I too am very new to online blogs! I have just been diagnosed with very early BC. Tubular cancer is considered a mild form, I was stage 1 grade 1, estrogen/progesterone positive. I had a lumpectomy a month ago , with no lymph node involved. I had my planning yesterday and will be starting radio therapy in a week. After radio therapy ends I have decided along with my oncologist to take tamoxifen for 5 years. I have had mixed messages too about the possibly side effects I will experience. I guess will have to take the wait "n" approach. I too am grateful for my good prognosis. I'm very lucky too, but like you I'm starting to find this time after diagnosis is getting harder, & I still have to go through radiotherapy. I'm only 42 with 3 boys, I feel like my family & friends around me expect me to be upbeat and happy all the time now! They just don't get that BC doesn't end when surgery is over, that this is journey only we can walk each day! Sorry I couldn't give you advice on the effects of the drugs, but just wanted to let you know your not alone in the way you feel. I too don't like my new " normal", Sometimes I wonder what normal is.... Good luck with this journey. And remember we are allowed to have our days & not feel guilty. Mona
