I agree that the side effects are loathsome but nothing could be more hideous than meta static disease. We are lucky that out doctors are able to fight the battle with a wide range of armory ( surgery, chemo, R/T, Arimidex, Herceptin, advice about weigth control, removal of ovaries etc) I want to do as much as I can to keep BC out of my life for as long as possible. We are not bullet proof, but it helps to wear at least as much shielding as possible, depending our diagnosis. Pity our sisters in less fortunate countries.
