After visit to Oncology yesterday and finding out that I have some early signs of Osteo I am considering going back on Tamoxifen for the last 9 months of my treatment. Anyone else have this problem. I found out Arimidex also causes high cholestorol.

I'm on Tamoxifen - only since May but I recently had a Bone Density scan and found out I have osteopenia in the neck (C1 - C3) and spine (L1 - L4). Now I honestly don't know if this is because of the Tamoxifen or not, or whether the Chemo caused it (I had an extra long treatment of chemo cause I couldn't have rads).
I just thought I'd let you know ....I suppose the best thing to do is take calcium supplements, ensure you get sufficient iron and protein in your diet and have at least 2 serves of dairy per day.
I was surprised at my results in one way, but there again I have had pain in those areas for some time....
