arimidex
well i was this FUN loving energised person...having survived 2 kids, a cesearian birth for one, a hysterectomy, multiple tooth surgeries, low grade breast cancer, radiation and...had an enormous amo...
Hi Whingy, Cancer was onchest wall, was 12DD/ or E Lumpectomy of 20mm grade 2, stage 2, clear margins, no node involvement, er/pr pos, her 2 neg. 6 weeks of radiation. Then radical hysterectomy.
49years young, fit healthy walking 15lkms per week, like you full of energy, self employed, busy mum of 3 all still at home. Its a bummer.
I have just gone 12months since surgery. Boob is now 12B cup, with other 12E cup, am on waiting list to have other boob reduced, about 30% to be removed. Will also reduce my risk for this breast.
My GP perscribed sertraline 50mg, which I take 1/2 table per day, if I take a full tablet it may be better but is ok with what I am taking. I forgot to take it today and am sitting here with the odd flush, but still nothing like it was. Was told I had menopause extra bad as I was not in menopause prior to hysterectomy/ooperectomy, so it came on like a steam train when the Arimidex was added. Yep it's a bummer.
Ask away anything to help.
