Hi Mona, thanks for your thoughts. You make some helpful points. My husband always says not to attribute to malice what could be due to ignorance or stupidity. I think you can add carelessness to the list too. As you say, who knows what they were dealing with that day. Which Is why I wrote asking her what happened and why instead of accusing her of anything. I do hope we can sort it out.
Yes it is a pity my breast surgeon is away. A good breast surgeon is generally a lot more use that a GP over these tests, because this is their specialty area so if there was a problem, a GP might not know much about what the surgeon would want to do with it . I am getting my head MRI tomorrow, and may wait for the results if possible so I can read them myself, and then arrange to discuss them with Peter if there is anything of concern. Initially, I want to know what the result is, and whether there is a problem or not. That for me is the most urgent bit as far as peace of mind goes. Then if there is a problem, I'd sometimes like a day or two to get an understanding of the medical terms and medical meaning of the diagnosis.
