Anyone on T-DMI ( trastuzumab emtasine )aka kaycycla _post surgery early BC?

Oncologist has flagged with me today that instead of just herceptin infusions till oct 2021 post surgery and radiation, that recent trials suggest T-DMI may be better ? ( it’s herceptin and emtansine)
In the past this was for metastatic BC only but now they feel it’s of benefit to early BC where ER positive and not metastatic.
She’s going to check into it again and discuss with me in a month .I’d be really interested in knowing if anyone here has been placed on this too?
to be honest psychologically I’m not wanting to go back on any sort of chemotherapy- I thought I’d pushed through that and was on the home run. (I are we ever with BC?)  Struggling this afternoon with idea of going there again” alhough one has to take medical advice on board and realise ER+ is not to be trifled with .

I had  positive early breast cancer diagnosed June 2020  - have had two neoadjuvant chemo cycles ( AC, and Taxcel/herceptin); lumpectomy ( lesion almost reduced to nil at surgery, totally excised) and lymph nodes excisions ( all clear); about to start 4 weeks of radiation ( 3 weeks hypofractination  radiation whole breast, 1 week “burst” radiation lesion site only). Knew I’d be up for hormone therapy and was told I’d be on 3 weekly herceptin till oct 2021 (approx 12 months all up).
