Anyone had chemo and radiation at the same time?
My radiation oncologist wants to discuss giving me radiation at the same time as phase 2 (Pax) of my chemo - which will be 12 X weekly treatments from 11 June. Has anyone else had this "double whammy"...

Radiation is given with chemo for certain types such as head and neck and lung cancers as the chemo makes the cells more radiosensitive.
radiation is given 4-6 wks after chemo for breast, could have been a mistake by the registrar
