Anyone else used SCENAR?

Fred (drain) may be gone but been left with infection. Doctor started me on antibiotics and took a swab. Swab results show it was resistant to what he gave me so now on a different antibiotic - I never do things the simple way!

Back to GP again today - middle ear infection and vertigo. Get bouts of vertigo from time to time as there is an uneven amount of fluid in my brain due to a larger cavity left on the side were a meningioma was removed in 2002. It was a large one and the brain only "sprang back" so much. Doesn't cause any other problems. Just something I live with. Part of my "normal".

Saw my physio yesterday for first time since surgery - got a gold star for arm movement! She and I have already got to know each other well. Also showed me some simple stuff to help try to reduce scar tissue - or at least soften it a bit. Also showed hubby and me how to use SCENAR device to help. Did some of it tonight - feels great.

Was amazed that neither the surgeon nor breast care nurses had ever heard of SCENAR (also called ENAR in some cases) devices and how helpful they are. I started using it for my airway - to reduce hard scar tissue there and it has been useful with other issues (muscle spasms in neck, back and shoulder) as well.
