Anybody Out There

Hi my name is Betty, I am 57 yrs old and just been diagnosed with malignant phyllodes tumour. It is a rare type of cancer and accounts 1% of breast cancers.  I am very confused about what after treatment to get after removal via a lumpectomy. My sugeon tells me chemo is not an option and there is limited reseach about the effectiveness of radiation therapy.  Any bloggers had there had experience with this type of tumour, I would be interested to hear from you. My life was pretty good until Mr Phyllodes decided to drop by. Have a good day.

Cheers Betty

    Hi Betty,

I can say you have come to the right place. I know there are quite a few other members who have been diagnosed with Phyllodes.
