Hi Rosanna,
I asked the same thing before l started chemo, as l thought l would have to "prepare" my body in some way. I asked my oncologist about supplements and any special diet, & she said as long as my diet is fairly balanced, that l should not start anything new, as my body will have enough to get used to. I have never taken supplements before, so lm not taking them now.
I've been told by a lot of people in the know that the best "cancer diet" is a regular balanced diet, as anything in excess can cause harm, even some vitamins etc.
I've been lucky that l can still eat most food, l think the best piece of advice given to me was to let my body decide what to eat, it will soon tell you if there's something it can't tolerate. I can't stomach the taste of cream any more, & l had a glass of wine the other day & it tasted like vinegar. If that's as bad as it gets for me, lm happy with that. Some people have trouble with upset stomachs etc.
Good luck with it, hopefully you can continue enjoying your favourite food :-)
