Any port in the storm

After CT scan three weeks ago, once again that fear of progression of disease in the lungs, was realised. Progression or infection or radiation damage was diagnosed. So my lovely doctor advised  paclitacel/carboplatin chemo. 

Port inserted on Monday. Reaction to tape. I looked like a panda with black eyes and round face. Booked in to chemo Thursday. In between - Tuesday follow up CT. diagnosis Pneumonitis caused by Afinitor and radiation. Chemo postponed a week so I can recover more. This diagnosis answered so many questions. Breathlessness, fatigue, chest discomfort.

i found afinitor and aromasin very hard to deal with. Any others found this.

still a long way to go but feeling more positive.
