ANXIOUS WAIT
Hi All, I feel so silly typing this post after reading of others experiences, but thought I would ask for some advice. I have had an exicisional biopsy taken from my left breast on Monday the 24th ...
Just love the comment about career change, this is one thing that I have noticed during this saga, (hate the word journey).
The local McGrath Breast Care Nurse really needs a career change, or to retire. She is a shocker, and I have not yet met another that appreciated her assistance.
The day that I had my surgery I had that horrid injection into my breast for the radiation tracker to find lymph nodes, no local anesthetic, then had the hook wire inserted, they had trouble finding my 20mm lump- yep feeling really great by now. Then the nurse came to take me from one end of the hospital to the other, I really wish I had of said something, but I just followed along.
She said "cant you walk any faster", well no trying to carry my overnight bag, trying no to move too much as instructed with the hook wire, and to top it all off I had on that wonderful hospital gown with no bra. I should have said sorry love my Ecups don't jog.
It was all wrong, as is your waiting for the results. I have not heard of anyone else waiting this long.
Sorry for venting.
Be the squeaky wheel.
