anxious.....

Well tomorrow is a big day.... i had an ultrasound on my left breast on thursday and was rung by the doctor on friday and requested to see him to discuss results. Being as i'm only 23 but have a STRONG family history and also have the BRCA2 mutation, I am considerably nervous!!! I originally had the scan to check on haematomia's caused through a MVA, but the last time i had them scanned i wasn't asked to see the doctor as the radiologist said they were harmless, but this time i was told a few cyst's were discovered and a few dark shadows on my lymphnodes...I'm really hoping it isnt the worst.....

    Hi there Ashleigh, well by now you are home and know the outcome of your visit to the doctor today.

    I hope you had someone with you, not ony for moral support but a spare pair of ears is always handy when you have medical appointments.

    What ever the relults ... good , bad or otherwise, you have all of us in your corner, ready to fight the fight with you.

    As Leanne said, waiting is the worst - so many things go through your mind but we are all here for you.

    Stay strong and positive, and et us know how you are managing.
