Anxiety over 2nd AC Chemo
I can already feel the anxiety building for my second AC chemo treatment tomorrow. They're going to be trying to use the port again after the debacle of the failed attempt first time around. Feeling quite sick about it, actually. They want me to take fluromazepam before hand to lessen anxiety but I want to be with it enough to tell them if I'm feeling pain as that was the indicator before that showed me things were going badly wrong (not that anyone but my husband really believed me). I know that no-one on the forum can do anything for me, but putting it out there makes me feel a bit better.

- So good to hear @sister. You got this! I do laundry on chemo days too. Suck every last bit of energy from the steroids I can.

- Hi everyone! I made it through chemo really well. No problems with the port and the whole team were aware of what had happened before so were really careful and reassuring throughout. Cold cap wasn't as bad this time. Nausea premeds tweaked so I didn't get sick during. Walked out of the hospital nearly 3 hours ago - I've eaten a meal and got a load of washing on. Kids have been helping but I really didnt think I would be up to doing anything. I know the nausea will hit when the drugs wear off but hopefully the stronger ones I've got will head it off a bit. Very tired.
- @sister Managing is good to hear darl (not a word I can use about myself this week). I hope the walk was good. I haven't for a couple of days but will today. Helps that it's cool.

Enjoy your walk, hoping all goes well with the next round of chemo - About to head off on my morning walk - probably the last one for a few days. And if last time is anything to go by, I won't be online for a few days, either. So, adios everyone, until I get my focus back!
