Oh yes. Now I'm supposed to take yet another bloody drug--Lexam--which is a SSRI to help with the anxiety. Of course, having had a history of depression, it's all in my head rather than a side effect of the meds. Couldn't be the Femara (side effect anxiety) or the Lyrica (side effect anxiety) No. It's me who needs adjusting. New med side effects include suicidal thoughts and difficulty sleeping. That sounds like an absolutely fucking splendid idea.
I'll take it because I can no longer tolerate waking up in the middle of the night with what I can only express as a physical feeling of fear. Genuine gut churning, sweating and gasping for air--but I'm oddly calm and can lie there having no idea what I am frightened of. If that isn't a side effect of something I'll take up bull riding so I've got something I can attribute it to.
