I read this story when it popped up in my Facebook feed this morning. I was drawn in by the header because I too hate it when cancer is described as a 'battle' or 'fight'.
As far as I'm concerned I'm suffering from an illness and being appropriately treated for it, no battling or fighting is necessary on my part!
