Another new triple negative member

I am hoping all goes well with your side effects this time, not wanting to scare you, and as we all know, everyone is different, but I unfortunately suffered more with each chemo. I found that the support of family, and counselling really help me through the tougher times.

Love the suggestion of the hair extensions, but prior to having my hair fall out, I had my hair cut really short, pixie cut, it lasted 5 days, but I loved it, so I have decided to keep it short, it is the "new me", the new "normal". But I will happily keep colouring it...too young to be grey!

Travelling to the country on Tuesday to spend day with my Aunt, as we all know, it will be good for her to talk to someone who has been there. Hopefully she can be what she wants to be and not "positive" like I am sure everyone is telling her to be. Sometimes it just sucks.

I wish you well for your treatment, "fight like a girl" and be strong.

So encouraging to read the posts from ladies who are through chemo and returning to "normal".  The experience seems to be so different for everyone with TNBC it hard to gauge if you are travelling normally or not.  I have just finished round 2 with fewer side effects this time - but waiting for days 3, 4 & 5 which in my 1st cycle were the worst. 

I wish you well with your haircut.  I read a blog where the lady went and got hair extensions - instant hair - as she had saved so much not going to the hairdresser.  The appointment and hair made her feel wonderful which is just the sensation you want coming out of the hairdresser.

I am sure you will inspire your Aunt and her recovery.  Stay well.
