Another lump??

Hi @Trikki2  .... as the other lovelies have said ..... chances are it is a seroma (a collection of fluid in/around the surgery site that causes pain & lump.)  Turning over & lying on that boob is a tad uncomfortable & sore.

I felt a lump in my OTHER boob about 6 weeks ago & also pain 360 degrees around my nipple area of my surgery site from Mid Jan. I had to wait 3 weeks to get into the Mammogram/ultrasound  at Port Macquarie (my preferred site) ..... 

Yep, seroma on the surgical site that should 'absorb' shortly - otherwise watch & wait .... and the 'other lump in the other boob' is nothing to worry about - also a watch & wait - I'll have both tests repeated in Nov/Dec.

Try not to worry (difficult tho it is!)  Try not to 2nd guess it - chances are, it isn't!  ;)

Sure is, the one I found under my arm scared me more. It's a schwannoma and also harmless. I have discovered that my body has all sorts of weird and wonderful bits I never knew about, and the nice thing is that most aren't out to hurt me! Good luck on Monday.

I discovered a hard, round lump near my mastectomy scar. Off to get it checked. I already had a seroma. Surgeon decided to ultrascan. "It's a seroma" said the operator. Yep, we know there is one but what's the lump? "It's a seroma", she said patiently. "It's a seroma within a seroma." 
Gahhh! Babushka seromas! But harmless, hope yours is too. 

@Zoffiel i had those twice and it is near where they were drained. Who knows. Anyway all shall be revealed Monday xxxx

Hey Trikki, I have all sorts of lumps from where I had the surgery.  It freaked me at first but then I was told its just scar tissue.  Don't be surprised if you get mysterious pains for a while yet, it takes a while for your body to heal.   I still get the occasional sensation in my breast 3 years on.    I have my fingers crossed that you are just feeling scar tissue as well :smile:

Could be a seroma, which are fluid collections and really common. Certainly needs checking out but the time frame fits for something that is important but not that sinister. Mxx
