Another lump

Hi All

well guess what I found about 3 weeks ago? Yep, another lump. This time in my good breast. I was hoping it was a cyst but it hasn't changed in the 3 weeks so I'm off to the gp tonight. I haven't told a soul as I don't want to stress everyone out if it turns out to be nothing, as happened with my last mammogram. I finished active treatment 9 months ago. I feel like I have put everyone around me through hell and back, so I'm just verbalising on here so I can get it out of my system. I'm sure it will be fine and if it's not I will deal with it. Let's face it, what choice do we have? Hhmmm. Stop the world, I'd like to get off please.

    Good idea to get it checked, Karen. As you say, it probably will be ok but you can't relax until you know for sure. I quite often skip a heartbeat or two if I feel anything lump like. Usually it is just the way I've touched the area and just picking up the normal bumps that feel weird if you rub in a different direction sometimes. The stomache clenches but then I realise it is ok and I can breathe again.
