When I was on Tamoxifen, they also had me having a Zoladex implant which put me into medical menopause, so I haven't had a period in 6 years. There is still a chance that they can come back though. I found Tamoxifen quite good and as you say the hot flushes were huge, but that was about it for side effects. I didn't feel as moody on the Tamoxifen but when I was on the Femara, I never felt happy and never quite right with it.
I want to try and have a relatively normal Christmas this year too. Especially after having to tell my girls just before last Christmas that everything had turned upside down. i just want to do normal stuff for a while.
