I will be starting off on 5000mg day. Wow! Just went and saw the nurse at Oncology and we had a good chat about it all. They are fantastic. Will still have Bondronat avery 6 weeks by IV but I would have to go and have the flush done anyway, so I may as well keep having it by IV. i am starting to feel okay about it now. Just the initial shock again. Although they were asking me if I was okay because I seemed too composed. Sometimes I don't know if I have the right reaction for people. I get upset initially but then i weigh everything up and think about what has been affected and how I actually feel and then I realise that it could be worse. TThis just seems to throw alot of people. I think they are waiting for me to collapse on the floor and throw a full on tanti or sit in the corner and rock. Don't have time for that. Need to find things that will keep me here for as long as possible.
I thank all you ladies for your advice and support. I think you all help me gain my composure. It truly is wonderful to find people like all of you, even if it is for the wrong reasons.
