Another day amongst the daffodils
Chemo week and my fourth day of sitting on the verandah in the late winter sun watching the daffodils in full bloom. I can also see them from lying in my bed and the sofa in our loungeroom....

Thanks Donna. The photos of the garden are actually a bit deceptive...I find it hard to look beyond the weeds and blackberries and the long grass and all the things that have got out of hand over the past 5 months. My poor husband hasn't had the time nor inclination to spend the weekends in the garden, having to now look after nearly all domestic chores as well. At least when the flowers come out it is easier to look beyond the work that needs doing! It's actually really helpful to hear other people describe the fog they had/have from chemo; it's that inability to lift your head at times that is so scary. There's some comfort in knowing that others have felt like this too and come out the other side.
